THE BIG HITTERS & SCHNELLTEMBERFEST STILL GIVING BACK IN 2009
2008 was a great year for the Big Hitters and the Make A Wish Foundation. In our first year of raising money for the Make A Wish Foundation of Illinois, our players stepped up and raised over $10,000 to make the wishes of two very special kids come true. We aren't done there - we are shooting to grant the wish of a third child in 2009.
A wish is not about giving a child with a life-threatening medical condition an item, trip, opportunity or otherwise.
Its is about caring... and letting a child know that people are cheering for him or her.
Its is about positive attention...for Wish Kids as well as their families.
Its is about hope...that things will get better.
It is about life...and helping Wish Kids make the most of it.
Please help us in continuing what we hope will be a great tradition of granting of wish of a very deserving child.
