Hope last year of bad luck brings blessings beyond belief
Hello out there. I am a divorced single mother with the most beautiful 9 year old son. We have recently fell on some bad times. The worst part about it is that we really don't have anyone to turn to for help. I am a nurse & recently lost my job. I have been having a really hard time finding a new one. With the loss of my job my bills have fell way behind, so much so that we are about to lose our car. I shutter to think of what will become of us if that happens. My main goal in life is to give my son the best possible life I can & at this point I feel like a total failure. I put myself through nursing school & while we didn't have a lot of money then we were still better off than we are now. At this point I am struggling to pay our rent, electricity, car note, etc. I was in a very bad car accident in 2005 & broke 2 pieces off my 1st vertebrae & suffer with medical problems, one of which is a heart condition that I have to take medication for. I unfortunately have to visit my doctor every month also & am worried that I will not be able to do so this month. I have tried to get assistance through the state & all we are able to get is food stamps which is a big help but it's just not enough. I am not asking for very much, only enough for us to get on our feet. If we lose our car that will be it due to us living in a rural area. If you or anyone you know can help us in any way please do, it would be greatly appreciated! We don't need a lot just enough to get us over this hump. One step closer to goal!
Hey I hope everyone that reads this is having a great week! I am proud to report that we are one step closer to our $3,000.00 goal! WooHoo!! Yes we are very thankful for the support! We received a donation from a very nice person which makes us no longer need $3,000.00...fabulous right?! Indeed it is! So if we could just get a few more donations from the masses it'd be so awesome! We are only in need of $2,000.00 now. Also, another bit of good news/bad news, the good- I was offered a job, the bad- it's been 3 weeks, tons of paperwork & they haven't called me to work yet! A friend of mine says this particular company is probably 1 of the only ones that can take up to 3 months from hire date to 1st day of work!?!?! 3 MONTHS??? Really...so if anyone or anyone you know of can help it'd be much appreciated! Thanks & I hope everyone has a safe & blessed week! :) T.
