Updates
August 5th 2006 - Added the ability to send out email reminders for those who have pledged but not paid. A link will be included in the email that will allow them to make their donation via Paypal. Since some people prefer to make donations offline, be sure that you mark there status as paid so they don't receive an email asking them to pay again.
August 5th 2006 - Added this page to track what is happening on the site and give insight into how it was designed. A big goal for the Thanks For Your Support site is to be driven by customer feedback so this page will track the progrress of the site overall.
August 3rd 2006 - Released the initial version of the new site redesign.
July 24th 2006 - Added a naughty word filter list. I want people to raise money for lots of different things, but I also want to keep the site PG.
Technology
Below is a list of key technologies that have made this site possible. All of them are open source and with out them this site wouldn't be possible. The newest and most exciting of the bunch is Ruby on Rails. It's a very fast and efficient way to do web programming. The more I work with it the more enamored I am with it.
